Hello [MEAT]

Welcome to the blog of the project called “On the interaction between Meaning Types: compositionality and discourse structure” (MEAT), funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO) and hosted at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Its main goal is to do research in semantics and pragmatics, and more specifically, on the interactions between meaning conveyed at different levels (at issue, implicated, presupposed). To know more about the project, visit the about page. In alphabetical order, its researchers are the following: Berit Gehrke, Elena Castroviejo, Laia Mayol, and Zoltan Zato. In this blog, we will be reporting our research activities, so you can track our scientific whereabouts. If you are interested in what we are doing, don’t hesitate to contact us!
